The U.are.U 5300 is a FIPS-201/PIV certified fingerprint reader from DigitalPersona. The scanner is also certified as compliant to FBI Mobile FAP 30 standard. It is also available as a fingerprint scanner module for OEM integration.
The manufacturer specifies that scanner's fingerprint sensor has IP64-rated seal between top case and glass surface. The scanner is able to reject latent or spoof fingerprints.
Support modules for this scanner are included in MegaMatcher 13.1 SDK, MegaMatcher On Card 13.1 SDK and VeriFinger 13.1 SDK.
